Perica Jovchevski is a visiting faculty at the Central European University (CEU) in Vienna. His main research interest is in political and moral philosophy, ranging over topics concerning personal autonomy, paternalism, punishment, justice and the ethics of memory. He received his PhD from the CEU in 2023 with a dissertation on the “Value of Personal Autonomy,” developing a theory of autonomy from a partially comprehensive anti-perfectionist perspective. Perica was engaged as an affiliate at the Vera and Donald Blinken Open Society Archives between 2015-2021. In 2021 he co-founded the Blinken OSA LGBTQI+ Collective Archive Project and co-curated the “Records Uncovered” exhibitions (vol.1 and vol.2) which offered a comprehensive and comparative perspective on the development of LGBTQI+ histories in Central and Southeastern Europe from the end of World War II to 1999.
