Mani grew up in Cape Town in a South African-Hungarian family. After graduating from high school in 2021 he lived in Budapest. In addition to his studies, he worked for many years as an organizer in the climate justice movement. He has supported other causes as well, such as children’s rights, affordable housing, and efforts at decolonization in his school. Mani is an active member in his local Jewish community. This fall, he started the BA course in Culture, Politics and Society (CPS).

What is the one thing people should know about you?

I will always stand up for what I believe in.

Why did you choose your course of study?

It is a combination of all my different interests! I’m excited at the opportunity CPS gives me, to not have to choose between them.

What do you hope to gain from your time at CEU?

I hope to gain a more global understanding of the world, and how I fit into it.
