Agnes teaches graduate-level Academic Writing and Policy Writing in the Departments of Public Policy, Environmental Sciences and Policy, Economics and Business, Sociology and Social Anthropology, International Relations, Legal Studies, History and Cultural Heritage Studies. She has also given research and dissertation writing workshops to PhD students in the Economics, SJD and Network Science PhD programs at CEU; the European University Institute, Italy; the European University of St. Petersburg, Russia; and in the CARTI program of OSF. Prior to joining CEU in 2010, she taught Academic Writing, English for Specific Purposes, Communication and Specialist Translation at Eötvös Lóránd University and Szent István University for 10 years. She has also been working as a freelance translator and proofreader for publishing companies and magazines. Her qualifications include an MA in English Language and Literature and a postgraduate degree in Translation with a specialization in Economics and Social Sciences. In 2012 she earned a postgraduate degree in Business Coaching and is dedicated to helping people expand or create their potential in any given field. In the AY 2015-16 she served as Acting Director of the Center and in the AY 2016-17 she was appointed Director. She was on maternity leave between 2018-2020.
